Troblr ("we", "us", or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights.
Information We Collect
When you use Troblr, we collect:
- Account information — email address and display name when you register.
- Recipe data — recipes, meal plans, and shopping lists you create within the app.
- Images — photos you attach to recipes, stored securely in Firebase Storage.
- Health data — if you enable HealthKit integration, nutrition data is written to Apple Health on your device. We do not store health data on our servers.
How We Use Your Information
- To provide, operate, and improve the Troblr app.
- To sync your recipes and meal plans across your devices.
- To respond to support requests.
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.
Data Storage
Your data is stored securely using Google Firebase, protected by Firestore security rules that ensure only you can access your own data. Data is encrypted in transit and at rest.
Apple Sign In
If you sign in with Apple, we receive only the information Apple shares (typically an anonymised email address). We do not receive your Apple ID password.
Data Retention & Deletion
Your data is retained as long as your account is active. You can permanently delete your account and all associated data from Profile → Settings → Delete Account within the app.
Children's Privacy
Troblr is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we'll update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
